PENERAPAN BIOLOGIC NURTURING BABY LED FEEDING TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI PADA IBU POST SECTIO CAESARIA DI RUMAH SAKIT Dr. BRATANATA JAMBI

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Nyeri pasca operasi sectio caesarea sering menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan, menghambat mobilisasi, mengganggu proses menyusui, serta memengaruhi pemulihan ibu. Penerapan Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding merupakan salah satu metode nonfarmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu menurunkan nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea. Metode ini memiliki keunggulan berupa posisi menyusui yang mengurangi tekanan pada luka operasi,memicu pelepasan oksitosin sebagai Pereda nyeri alami, serta memperkuat ikatan batin ibu dan bayi tanpa efek samping.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui penerapan Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding terhadap penurunan nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2 orang ibu post section caesarea sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan menggunakan alat ukur lembar observasi serta Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) untuk mengukur tingkat nyeri Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 3 hari.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penurunan skala nyeri pada kedua subjek yakni Ny.M dengan skala nyeri 5 menjadi skala nyeri 1 dan Ny.P dengan skala nyeri 6 menjadi skala nyeri 1.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat perubahan skala nyeri pada ibu post sectio caesarea sehingga terapi Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis dalam mengatasi nyeri pasien post section caesaria.

ABSTRAK

Background: Postoperative pain following cesarean section often causes discomfort, hinders mobilization, interferes with the breastfeeding process, and affects maternal recovery. The implementation of Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding is one of the non-pharmacological methods that can be used to help reduce pain in post-cesarean section mothers. This method has several advantages, including a breastfeeding position that reduces pressure on the surgical wound, stimulates the release of oxytocin as a natural pain reliever, and strengthens the emotional bond between mother and baby without side effects.
Objective: To determine the implementation of Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding in reducing pain among post-cesarean section mothers.
Methods: This study used a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 2 post-cesarean section mothers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection used an observation sheet and the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) to measure pain intensity. The study was conducted over 3 days.
Result: The results of this study showed a decrease in pain scale in both subjects, namely Mrs. M whose pain scale decreased from 5 to 1, and Mrs. P whose pain scale decreased from 6 to 1.
Conslusion: There was a change in the pain scale among post-cesarean section mothers; therefore, Biologic Nurturing Baby Led Feeding therapy can be used as one of the non-pharmacological interventions in managing pain in post-cesarean section patients.
