PENERAPAN AIR REBUSAN JAHE DAN MADU PADA PENDERITA ASMA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PAKUAN BARU KOTA JAMBI

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang : Asma ini ditentukan oleh riwayat atau gejala pernapasan seperti mengi, sesak napas, sesak dada dan batuk yang bervariasi dari waktu ke waktu dan intensitas bersama dengan variabel keterbatasan aliran udara ekspirasi.
Tujuan : Untuk memperoleh gambaran penerapan air rebusan jahe dan madu pada penderita asma anak usia sekolah di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pakuan Baru Kota Jambi.
Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripsif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu orang responden sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan penilaian menggunakan lembar observasi.
Hasil : Hasil pre-test An. N frekuensi asma 2 kali dan setelah diberikan penerapan air rebusan jahe dan madu post test An. N 1 kali frekuensi.
Saran : Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang terapi nonfarmakologi yaitu penerapan air rebusan jahe dan madu pada penderita asma anak usia sekolah.
Kesimpulan : Terdapat perubahan penurunan frekuensi asma pada An. N

ABSTRACT

Introduction : Asthma is defined by a history or respiratory symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and cough that vary over time and intensity along with variable expiratory airflow limitation.
Tujuan : To obtain an overview of the application of boiled ginger and honey water on school-age children with asthma in the working area of the Pakuan Baru Health Center Jambi City.
Metode : This research is a descriptive study with a case study method. The subject in this study was one respondent according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria with an assessment using an observation sheet.
Results : The pre-test results of An. N showed a frequency of asthma of 2 times and after being given the application of boiled ginger water and honey, the post-test of An. N showed a frequency of 1 time.
Suggestion : It is hoped that the results of this study can increase knowledge about non-pharmacological therapy, namely the application of boiled ginger and honey water to school age children with asthma.
Conclusion : There is a decrease in the frequency of asthma in An. N.
