Abstract
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Mutu layanan rumah sakit sangat bergantung pada disiplin dan kinerja SDM, terutama di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD). Di RSUD Abdul Manap Kota Jambi, observasi awal menunjukkan adanya keluhan pasien terkait kurangnya kedisiplinan dan kinerja pegawai IGD, seperti respons lambat dan ketidakpatuhan prosedur.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai IGD di RSUD Abdul Manap Kota Jambi untuk mengukur tingkat disiplin dan kinerja, menganalisis hubungan keduanya, serta merumuskan rekomendasi strategis.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross- sectional untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Populasi penelitian adalah 36 pegawai IGD di RSUD Abdul Manap Kota Jambi. Menggunakan teknik total sampling, semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, sementara data sekunder dari dokumen rumah sakit. Instrumen penelitian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya untuk memastikan keakuratannya. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat (uji Chi-Square) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel.
Hasil : Hasil uji statistik membuktikan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara disiplin kerja dan kinerja pegawai (p=0.000), sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menemukan hubungan positif dan signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan disiplin kerja berkorelasi dengan peningkatan kinerja. Aspek disiplin kerja yang dominan mencakup kehadiran, ketaatan pada peraturan, dan etika profesional, yang secara langsung berdampak pada efektivitas dan kualitas layanan.
Kesimpulan : Disiplin kerja dan kinerja pegawai IGD RSUD H. Abdul Manap Kota Jambi sama-sama tergolong tinggi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Peningkatan disiplin akan meningkatkan kinerja. Oleh karena itu, penguatan regulasi dan pembinaan berkelanjutan penting untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas layanan gawat darurat.

ABSTRACT
Background: The quality of hospital services heavily depends on the discipline and performance of its human resources, especially in the Emergency Department (ED). In the ED of Rumah Sakit Abdul Manap Jambi City, initial observations revealed patient complaints regarding a lack of employee discipline and performance, such as slow response times and non-compliance with procedures.
Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline on the performance of ED employees at Rumah Sakit Abdul Manap Jambi City. It measures their levels of discipline and performance, analyzes the relationship between the two, and formulates strategic recommendations.
Method: This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design to analyze the influence of work discipline on employee performance. The study population consisted of 36 ED employees at Rumah Sakit Abdul Manap Jambi City. Using a total sampling technique, all members of the population were included as the sample. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data came from hospital documents. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability to ensure accuracy. The data were then analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis (Chi-Square test) to examine the relationship between variables.
Results: Statistical tests proved a significant influence of work discipline on employee performance (p=0.000), consistent with previous research that found a positive and significant relationship. This indicates that an increase in work discipline correlates with improved performance. Key aspects of work discipline, including attendance, compliance with regulations, and professional ethics, directly impact service effectiveness and quality.
Conclusion: Both the work discipline and performance of ED employees at H. Rumah Sakit Abdul Manap Jambi City, are categorized as high. This study confirms that work discipline has a significant influence on employee performance. An increase in discipline will lead to better performance. Therefore, strengthening regulations and providing continuous training are crucial for continuously improving the quality of emergency services.
