HUBUNGAN PEMANFAATAN MEDIA SOSIAL DENGAN TINGKAT KEPERCAYAAN PASIEN POLI PENYAKIT DALAM DI RUMAH SAKIT dr. BRATANATA JAMBI

ABSTRAK

Media sosial rumah sakit menjadi salah satu sarana komunikasi digital yang penting dalam menyampaikan informasi pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat. Media sosial yang informatif, responsif, dan mudah diakses dapat memengaruhi persepsi serta tingkat kepercayaan pasien terhadap pelayanan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemanfaatan media sosial dengan tingkat kepercayaan pasien Poli Penyakit Dalam di Rumah Sakit dr. Bratanata Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik dan sifat penelitian korelasional. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 1 Mei 2026 sampai dengan 30 Mei 2026. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 responden yang merupakan pasien Poli Penyakit Dalam, ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin 10% dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil uji menunjuan nilai koefisiensi korelasi sebesar r = 0,726 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubugan yang positif, kuat, dan signifikan dan nilai tersebut menunjuan bahwa semakin tinggi pemanfaatan media sosial rumah sakit, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepercayaan pasien terhadap rumah sakit.

ABSTRACT

Hospital social media has become an important digital communication tool for delivering healthcare service information to the public. Informative, responsive, and easily accessible social media can influence patients' perceptions and levels of trust in hospital services. This study aimed to determine the relationship between social media use and the level of patient trust among Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic patients at Dr. Bratanata Hospital Jambi. This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytic design and a correlational research type. Data collection was conducted from May 1, 2026, to May 30, 2026. The sample consisted of 100 respondents who were patients of the Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic, determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error and selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed a correlation coefficient value of r = 0.726 with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The findings indicate a positive, strong, and significant relationship between social media use and patient trust. This result suggests that the higher the use of hospital social media, the higher the level of patient trust in the hospital.
