PENERAPAN TERAPI MINYAK BAWANG MERAH UNTUK MENGATASI MASALAH HIPERTERMI PADA ANAK DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS AURDURI KOTA JAMBI

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Hipertermi adalah keadaan suhu tubuh diatas normal, yaitu suhu tubuh diatas 37,5 C. Demam tinggi dapat menyebabkan syok, sehingga dapat menyebabkan kematian pada anak usia 6 tahun bila tidak segera ditangani. Kompres terapi minyak bawang merah merupakan terapi non farmakologis untuk menurunkan suhu tubuh. Bawang merah mengandung senyawa organosulfur seperti ailin, flavonoid yang memberikan efek vasodilatasi sehingga panas tubuh lebih mudah keluar.
Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan terapi minyak bawang merah untuk mengatasi masalah hipertermi pada anak di wilayah kerja puskesmas kota jambi
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif studi kasus dengan pendekatan askep, Subyek peneliti yaitu An. M 6 tahun dengan Hipertermia di wilayah kerja puskesmas aurduri kota jambi dari tanggal 15 s/d 17
Hasil: Terdapat penurunan panas pada An. F dimana tindakan kompres Bawang merah dilakukan selama 3 hari. Setelah dilakukan tindakan, didapatkan suhu tubuh menurun dari 38,5 C menjadi 37,2 C.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat perubahan suhu pada responden setelah diberikan penerapan terapi minyak bawang merah

ABSTRACT
Background: Hyperthermia is a condition where the body temperature is above normal, namely a body temperature above 37.5 C. High fever can cause shock, which can cause death in children aged 6 years if not treated immediately. Red onion oil therapy compress is a non-pharmacological therapy to lower body temperature. Red onions contain organosulfur compounds such as ailin, flavonoids that provide a vasodilating effect so that body heat is easier to escape.
Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of shallot oil therapy to overcome the problem of hyperthermia in children in the working area of the Jambi City Health Center.
Methods: This study used a data collection method using intensive assessment of one case unit. The research subject is An. M 6 years old with hyperthermia.
Results: The results of the case study obtained a decrease in heat in An. F where the action of shallot compress was carried out for 3 days. After the action was taken, it was found that the body temperature decreased to 37.2 C.
onclusion: There is a change in temperature after applying onion oil therapy.
