EDUKASI KESEHATAN TENTANG DAMPAK PEMAKAIAN DIAPERS YANG MENYEBABKAN RUAM POPOK (DIAPER RASH) PADA IBU YANG MEMILIKI BAYI 0-12 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TALANG BANJAR

ABSTRAK

Latar belakang: Kasus diaper rash masih menjadi masalah kulit yang merugikan terutama pada anak, selain menyebabkan gangguan akibat pemakaian popok pada anak, juga melibatkan anggota keluarga lain yang berperan. Ruam popok dapat membuat anak merasa tidak nyaman dan rewel, sehingga malas bergerak dan berdampak pada perkembangan motoriknya.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang dampak pemakaian diaper yang menyebabkan ruam popok (diaper rash) pada bayi 0-12 bulan
Metode: Jenis pendekatan studi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif.
Hasil: Masalah yang peneliti temukan adalah kurangnya pengetahuan responden tentang dampak pemakaian diapers yang menyebabkan ruam popok (diaper rash) dan masalah ini fokus kepada responden untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan. Edukasi yang peneliti berikan sesuai yang ada di dalam SAP (satuan acara penyuluhan) yaitu pengertian, penyebab, tanda dan gejala,dan pencegahannya
Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan sesudah diberikan edukasi kepada kedua responden.
Saran: penelitian ini diharapkan responden mampu memahami tentang dampak pemakaian diapers yang menyebabkan ruam popok (diaper rash) dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan.

ABSTRACT

Background: : Diaper rash cases are still a detrimental skin problem, especially in children, in addition to causing disorders due to diaper use in children, it also involves other family members who play a role. Diaper rash can make children feel uncomfortable and fussy, so they are lazy to move and have an impact on their motor development.
Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of mothers about the impact of diaper use that causes diaper rash in babies 0-12 months
Methods: The type of study approach applied in this study is a descriptive approach. Results: The problem that the researcher found was the respondents' lack of knowledge about the impact of diaper use that causes diaper rash and this problem focused on the respondents to increase their knowledge. The education provided by the researcher is in accordance with the SAP (extension event unit), namely the definition, causes, signs and symptoms, and prevention
Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that there was an increase after education was given to both respondents.
Suggestion: This study is expected to be able to understand the impact of diaper use that causes diaper rash and can increase knowledge.
