Abstract

ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang: Penelitian didasarkan pada pentingnya waktu tunggu sebagai indikator mutu layanan serta perbedaan sistem administrasi yang memengaruhi kecepatan pelayanan.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan waktu tunggu pelayanan farmasi antara pasien umum dan pasien BPJS di Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit Abdul Manap Kota Jambi.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif komparatif dan pendekatan eksplanatori. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan total 196 responden yang dibagi merata antara pasien umum dan BPJS. Analisis data diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, yang menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga dilakukan uji Mann-Whitney.
Hasil: Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,017 (α = 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam waktu tunggu antara kedua kelompok pasien.
Kesimpulan: Perbandingan waktu tunggu pasien umum dan BPJS memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya evaluasi dan perbaikan sistem pelayanan farmasi, khususnya dalam mengelola antrian pasien BPJS, guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan kepuasan pasien secara menyeluruh.

ABSTRACT

Background: The research is based on the importance of waiting time as an indicator of service quality and the differences in administrative systems that affect the speed of service.
Objective: This study aims to compare the waiting time for pharmaceutical services between general patients and BPJS patients at the Pharmacy Installation of Abdul Manap Hospital, Jambi City.
Method: This study used a quantitative method with a comparative descriptive design and an explanatory approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with a total of 196 respondents evenly divided between general and BPJS patients. Data analysis began with normality and homogeneity tests, which showed that the data was not normally distributed, so the Mann-Whitney test was carried out.
Results: The test results show a p-valuevalueof 0.017 (α = 0.05), which means there is a significant difference in waiting time between the two patient groups.
Conclusion: Comparison of waiting time for general and BPJS patients has significant differences. This finding indicates the need for evaluation and improvement of the pharmaceutical service system, especially in managing BPJS patient queues, in order to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction as a whole.
