PENERAPAN SENAM REMATIK PADA LANSIA DENGAN RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS UNTUK PENURUNAN SKALA NYERI DI PSTW BUDI LUHUR JAMBI

ABSTRAK

Pendahuluan: Rheumatoid arthritis adalah penyakit kronis yang menyebabkan nyeri, kekakuan, pembengkakan, dan keterbatasan mobilitas dan fungsi pada banyak sendi.
Tujuan: Mengetahui bagaimana penerapan senam rematik pada lansia dengan rheumatoid arthritis untuk penurunan skala nyeri di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Jambi.
Metode: Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk prosedur pemecahan masalah dengan menggambarkan keadaan objek pada saat sekarang berdasarkan fakta-fakta sebagaimana adanya.
Hasil: Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi Pre-Test dan Post-Test didapat hasil perbandingan dan perbedaan skala nyeri dan responden mengatakan setelah melakukan senam rematik nyerinya berkurang.
Kesimpulan: Penerapan Senam Rematik Pada Lansia Dengan Rheumatoid Arthritis Untuk Penurunan Skala Nyeri cukup membantu untuk penurunan rasa nyeri pada lansia yang menderita Rheumatoid arthritis.
Saran: Diharapkan agar Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Luhur Jambi dapat menerapkan dan melaksanakan kegiatan senam remtik secara rutin.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease that causes pain, stiffness, swelling, and limited mobility and function in many joints.
Objective: Knowing how the application of rheumatic gymnastics in the elderly with rheumatoid arthritis to reduce the pain scale at the Jambi Tresna Werdha Social Home.
Methods: This descriptive research aims to problem-solving procedures by describing the state of the object at the present time based on the facts as they are.
Results: The results obtained from research conducted using the Pre-Test and Post-Test observation sheets obtained the results of comparisons and differences in pain scales and respondents said after doing rheumatic gymnastics the pain was reduced.
Conclusion: The application of Rheumatic Gymnastics in the Elderly with Rheumatoid Arthritis for Decreasing Pain Scale is quite helpful for decreasing pain in the elderly suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.
Suggestion: It is hoped that Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Luhur Jambi can implement and carry out rheumatic gymnastics activities routinely.
