MENGUKUR TINGKAT IMPLEMENTASI REKAM MEDIS ELEKTRONIK DI RUMAH SAKIT MENGGUNAKAN METODE PIECES

ABSTRAK

Rekam medis elektronik adalah informasi medis dan sosial pasien yang disimpan secara terkomputerisasi. Pencatatan data elektronik telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan mutu layanan, kepuasan pasien, keakuratan pencatatan data pasien, dapat mengurangi kesalahan medis, redundansi data, serta mempecepat akses informasi tentang pasien. Faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan tehadap implementasi rekam medis elektronik di Rumah Sakit yaitu keterampilan petugas dalam melakukan pelayanan pasien di Rumah Sakit, lalu ada ketersediaan fasilitas dan perangkat keras (hardware) yang memadai, serta ketersediaan dukungan teknisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat implementasi RME dirumah sakit dr. Bratanata dengan menggunakan metode PIECES. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif-deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh petugas di poli rawat jalan yang berjumlah 109 orang. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan tekhnik probability sampling dengan pendekatan simple random sampling dengan jumlah 52 responden. Berdasarkan hasil uji univariat diperolah hasil bahwa untuk variabel performance terdapat 16 responden dengan kategori baik dengan persentase 30.8%. untuk variabel information terdapat 24 responden (46,2%) dengan kategori baik. Untuk variabel economy terdapat 40 responden (76.9%) dengan kategori baik. Untuk variabel control terdapat 20 responden (38.5%) dengan kategori baik. Untuk variabel efficiency terdapat 28 responden (53.8%) dengan kategori baik dan untuk variabel service terdapat 46 responden (88,5%) dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil untuk nilai T hitung sebesar 3.472 dan untuk nilai Signifikansi sebesar 0.001 <0.05. disarankan agar pihak rumah sakit meningkatan pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap penggunaan sistem RME agar dapat mengurangi hambatan teknis dan meningkatkan efisiensi kerja.

ABSTRACT

Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) constitute computer-based storage of patients’ medical and social information. The digitalization of medical records has demonstrably improved the quality of healthcare services, enhanced patient satisfaction, increased the accuracy of patient data documentation, minimized medical errors and data redundancy, and accelerated access to patient information. The successful implementation of EMRs in hospital settings is contingent upon several factors, including the competency of personnel in delivering patient services, the availability of adequate hardware infrastructure, and the presence of sufficient technical support. This study aims to assess the level of EMR implementation at Dr. Bratanata Hospital utilizing the PIECES framework. A quantitative-descriptive research design was employed. The study population comprised all outpatient clinic personnel, totaling 109 individuals. Sampling was conducted using probability sampling with a simple random sampling approach, yielding a total of 52 respondents. Univariate analysis revealed the following: the performance variable showed that 16 respondents (30.8%) rated implementation as good; the information variable had 24 respondents (46.2%) with good ratings; the economy variable was rated good by 40 respondents (76.9%); the control variable received good ratings from 20 respondents (38.5%); the efficiency variable had 28 respondents (53.8%) in the good category; and the service variable was rated good by 46 respondents (88.5%). Hypothesis testing indicated a t-value of 3.472 with a significance level of 0.001, which is below the threshold of 0.05. It is recommended that the hospital administration enhance training and provide continuous support for the use of the EMR system to reduce technical barriers and improve operational efficiency.
