PENERAPAN POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM PADA ORANG TUA ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS (ABK) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOPING KELUARGA DI SLB HARAPAN MULIA JAMBI

ABSTRAK

Pendahuluan : Positive Parenting Program adalah proses pengasuhan berdasarkan pembelajaran sosial yang menetapkan aturan yang jelas, pemberian bimbingan yang terarah, dan pemberian intruksi yang jelas dan tenang.
Tujuan : Mengetahui gambaran penerapan positive parenting program pada orang tua Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) untuk meningkatkan koping keluarga di SLB Harapan Mulia Jambi.
Metode : Penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan studi kasus yang dilakukan dengan meneliti suatu permasalahan melalui suatu kasus yang terdiri dari unit Tunggal.
Hasil : Hasil Pre-Test sebelum dilakukan penerapan Positive Parenting Program pada Ny. D memiliki skor 9 dengan persentase 60% dan Ny. L memiliki skor 8 dengan persentase 53,3%. Setelah melakukan penerapan Positive Parenting Program, Skor Positive parenting yang diperoleh Ny. D memiliki skor 14 dengan persentase 93,3% dan Ny. L memiliki skor 14 dengan persentase 93,3%. Dilihat dari hasil skor antara Pre-Test dan Post-Test didapatkan perbedaan hasil yang berarti orang tua ABK berhasil menerapkan Positive Parenting Program terhadap anaknya.
Kesimpulan : Penerapan Positive Parenting Program Pada Orang Tua Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) Untuk Meningkatkan Koping Keluarga cukup membantu untuk meningkatkan koping pada orang tua Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK).
Saran : Diharapkan agar orang tua dapat mencari literatur terkait edukasi Positive Parenting Program, maka dari itu dengan pemahaman yang baik tentang cara melakukan Positive Parenting, Orang tua dapat memberi dukungan yang optimal kepada anak-anaknya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan koping keluarga secara kesuluruhan.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The Positive Parenting Program is a parenting process based on social learning that establishes clear rules, provides directed guidance, and provides clear and calm instructions.
Objective: To find out the overview of implementing the positive parenting program for parents of Children with Special Needs (ABK) to improve family coping at SLB Harapan Mulia Jambi.
Method: Descriptive research using a case study approach is conducted by researching a problem through a case consisting of a single unit.
Results: The results of the Pre-Test before the implementation of the Positive Parenting Program on Mrs. D had a score of 9 with a percentage of 60% and Mrs. L had a score of 8 with a percentage of 53.3%. After implementing the Positive Parenting Program, Mrs. D had a Positive Parenting Score of 14 with a percentage of 93.3% and Mrs. L had a score of 14 with a percentage of 93.3%. Judging from the results of the scores between the Pre-Test and the Post-Test, there is a difference in the results which means that ABK parents have successfully implemented the Positive Parenting Program for their children.
Conclusion: The implementation of the Positive Parenting Program for Parents of Children with Special Needs (ABK) To Improve Family Coping is quite helpful to improve coping in parents of Children with Special Needs (ABK).
Suggestion: It is hoped that parents can look for literature related to Positive Parenting Program education, therefore with a good understanding of how to do Positive Parenting, parents can provide optimal support to their children, so that they can improve the quality of life and coping of the family as a whole.
